The Charlotte Storytellers Storytellers & Writers Meetup is designed to bridge the gap between these two creative worlds. Whether you're a storyteller, writer, poet, memoirist, comedian, or someone simply exploring the craft of narrative, you're welcome here.
Bring a story, a draft, an idea, or just your curiosity. Share your work, receive thoughtful feedback, and connect with others who are passionate about storytelling in all its forms.
This is a low-pressure, supportive environment focused on creativity, growth, and community. Come meet like-minded people, exchange ideas, and discover how written and spoken stories can inspire one another.

Turning Tables
Turning Tables is a community workshop exploring the powerful connection between music and personal storytelling. Throughout the evening, participants will have the chance to take control of the aux, share a song that means something to them, and tell the story behind it.
As we pass the aux cable around the room, we'll uncover memories, celebrate meaningful moments, and discover the unexpected ways music connects us all. Whether your song is tied to joy, heartbreak, growth, adventure, or something you can't quite explain, there's a place for it here.
No storytelling experience is required. Just bring a song, an open mind, and a willingness to connect.

Storytellers Community Table
Some of our favorite memories begin around a table.
The Charlotte Storytellers Community Table is a gathering where storytellers, listeners, and community members come together over a shared meal. Food has always been connected to story. We celebrate milestones with it, pass down traditions through it, and gather around it to connect with the people we care about most.
As the year slows down and we move into a season of gratitude and togetherness, it feels only natural to gather around the table. Bring a dish that means something to you and, if you'd like, share the story behind it. Whether it's a family recipe, a cultural tradition, or simply a meal tied to a meaningful memory, we'd love to hear it.
Come break bread with like-minded people, share a meal, swap stories, and help us build community one conversation at a time. There is always room at the table.
Past Lives: A Charlotte Storytellers Showcase

Join Charlotte Storytellers for our next showcase, Past Lives, on June 6 at 7:00 PM at Free Range Brewing, 2320 N Davidson St D, Charlotte, NC. Admission is free, and donations are always welcome as we continue building spaces for stories, connection, and community.
